The Scrip Program
The Scrip Program is the latest on-going fund-raiser for
the Parents Club. Scrip, meaning "substitute
money," works like a gift certificate. Families purchase
scrip at face value and the companies offering it donate
a percentage of the purchase back to the school. With each
scrip purchase the school earns 2-40% of the scrip purchase.
There are 71 different stores, restaurants and other retailers
offering scrip through our program from Fred Meyer
to Regal Cinemas.
How it Works:
Scrip is available for purchase each week during the school
year. Families fill out the scrip order form, send it to
school and receive the scrip in about two days. Anyone can
order scrip through this program grandparents, parishioners,
friends and neighbors are welcome to help support the school.
Scrip order forms are available through the school office.
Over the past few years, the scrip program has grown more
and more successful, expanding into a significant revenue
source for the Parents Club. These funds help the
club offer extracurricular programs and activities for the
students and the community including:
- Community Easter Egg Hunt
- Classroom supplies
- Catholic School Week activities for the children and
staff
- Spirit T-shirts for every student and staff
- Family Fun Night activities
